Geico Has the Best Car Insurance Ads in the Industry Bar None
Geico car insurance ads have been beaten into our heads since the introduction of the gecko in 1999, and are by far the best in the industry. You would be pretty hard pressed today to find someone who has never heard their catch phrase “fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance.”
However, the best ads are the cavemen ads, which generally have nothing to do with car insurance but grab your attention. It is hilarious to hear the cavemen express their disgust with the phrase “Geico: so easy a caveman could do it.” Perhaps the funniest ads by Geico involve their sponsorship of the number 7 car of the NASCAR Nationwide Series driven my Mike Wallace.
The commercials focused on the race team feature a young boy claiming to be a relative of Mike Wallace and his claims of being a better race car driver, “When people see Mike Wallace and the Geico number 7 doing well, they’ll think of saving a bunch of money on car insurance. But when they see me, they’ll say, ‘There goes Lauren Wallace; the greatest thing to ever climb into a racecar.’”
