Progressive Is the First Car Insurance Company to Introduce a Web 2.0 Site

Recently, Progressive announced the introduction of a new 2.0 Web site, which features easier navigation, more personalization and customization, and far easier to use video content. This is the first car insurance company to introduce such a user friendly website for customers to use.

This new site makes it easier than before to find a local agent as well as to get an online insurance quote. The site also is loaded with more information on all of their policies on cars, motorcycles, RVs, ATVs, and boats. There is also information about insurance available through Progressive from other companies like health insurance, home insurance, and renters insurance.

“In 1995, we brought car insurance to the Web,” said Tony Alfred, General Manager, Customer Acquisition, Progressive Group. “This iteration makes information personal, relevant and easiest-to-use.”
